Men's Ministries

Our Mission

The PGCC Men's Ministry exists to turn a man's HEART toward God, to strengthen his HOME life, to enable his HANDS to serve effectively and to build quality relationships with his HOMIES. We focus on these 4 major areas as we assist men on their walk with God:

1. HEART - we exist to help turn a man's HEART progressively toward God, exhibiting spiritual fruit through Bible study, prayer and other spiritual disciplines.

2. HOME - we exist to strengthen a man's HOME life, focusing on quality, biblical relationships with his wife and extended family.

3. HANDS - we exist to enable each man to serve effectively in ministry within the local body and the community through discovering his spiritual gifting and becoming proficient in his passion.

4. HOMIES - we exist to assist each man toward building quality, accountable relationships with his closest circle of friendships.

Our efforts are aimed at providing Bible studies, spiritual mentoring programs, retreats, social and other special events that support one or more of these "4-H's". We are confident that a man who finds "growth and balance" among these "4-H's" lives an effective, fulfilled life that pleases the Lord and is a strong witness to a watching community.

Men's Bible Study
These studies occur every Wednesday at 10:15 AM at the church and cover a variety of Bible books/topics through the year. We also plan to add other studies at different times during the week.

Lunch With the Guys (LWTG)
These regularly scheduled luncheons occur the third Thursday every other month. They typically include lunch plus various activities and guest speakers on a range of topics designed to educate and allow fun, social interaction with other men, Women are welcome to join us, plus we encourage men to invite those from the community to join us.

Special Events
Throughout the year, special events are planned for outreach to our community. These events include, but are not limited to, car shows, golf tournaments, movie nights and other social activities.

Men's Retreat
An annual retreat in the FALL timeframe is designed around a one-day format. Guest speakers are invited to come and motivate men to grow and develop in all "4-H's". We encourage our men to invite those from the community to join us. Breakfast and lunch are served.

Serving the community through St. Vincent de Paul
This is a monthly grocery delivery program designed to allow our church to join a local charity in providing food to the needy in our community. At the beginning of each month a team of our men work in pairs delivering groceries to the needy in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul.
